The books I have for my girls are not works of art, but labors of love that I hope they will cherish for many years.meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04372141868006686077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32619278.post-89528727666606502932008-02-04T09:02:00.000-05:002008-02-04T09:02:00.000-05:00Hi,I came over from Amy's blog. I am creative and I scrap book but I do a lot of pages on white and I had someone recently say "oh those people who scrap on white paper", I like white and the simplicity of it and the blank canvas part of it. I believe it is better to have a simple layout that tells something in a book is better than pictures in a box.Bella's Mommyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03118853853994129282noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32619278.post-40427544061249595312008-02-02T08:57:00.000-05:002008-02-02T08:57:00.000-05:00Well said!!!Well said!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32619278.post-69987198908667302882008-02-02T08:35:00.000-05:002008-02-02T08:35:00.000-05:00Guess who won a prize? I know my kids will cherish their albums, whether I scrap every photo or not. I want to tell stories, little things, but I also want to do it in a way that feels fun and expressive and creative. That's going to mean something different to everyone. Not better. Just different.

Great post.michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05911379870793511618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32619278.post-59662508715779873702008-01-31T15:34:00.000-05:002008-01-31T15:34:00.000-05:00YEAH! The other thing I find extremely important is the story behind the photos...not just the names - Aunt Emily, but something about her, or the event that is not pictured.Charlenehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17079945785897719554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-32619278.post-40873607013498620792008-01-31T11:37:00.000-05:002008-01-31T11:37:00.000-05:00I love this post!
