Thirteen Things I'd like to do in 2007
1. Pay off debt. Now that hubby is working a lot of hours, we're hoping to get ahead on our schedule to be debt free in the next 2 yrs!
2. Continue and finish my Beth Moore Bible study. I've been going to this study at church as I can, but I'm really behind in my personal study. It's such a good study and I know I'll be better for working through it.
3. Attend the Beth Moore Conference that's coming to town in February. This is something I'm definitely doing! I've got my ticket in hand.
4. Lose some weight. I know everyone puts that down, but don't most people need to?
5. Finish my baby afghan. I've been crocheting a baby afghan for the past 4 years. I started when I was pregnant for the first time, and I've only got 10 rows to go! This should be a no-brainer, but I really have to be in the right mood to crochet. And this blanket works together slowly-about 1/2 hour per row. But I have a lot of pregnant friends right now who would enjoy the blanket, I'm sure!
6. Go to Hawaii. The Body Shop is giving away trips to Hawaii and I want to go! Hubby and I really need a weekend away and I can't think of a better trip than a free one to Hawaii!
7. Be able to put Emma's hair in a pony-tail. Ok. I know I have no control over this, but I'd really like to do SOMETHING with this girl's hair at some point in the next year. At 3.5 yrs old, she's never had a hair cut. I'm just now able to pull the sides and bangs back but she really wants, and I quote, "Hair like Mommy." Be careful what you ask for honey!
8. Finish Ella's 1st year scrapbook. I've only got about 5 pages to go and plan on finishing by the end of the month.
9. Go on a scrapbooking weekend getaway. 36 hours of uninterupted scrapbooking time sounds like bliss! I know it may sound like a really long time to scrapbook, but trust me, it goes by way too fast!
10. Make a trip to Georgia. Hubby and I have been trying to do this for about 3 yrs now, but just haven't had the money. We'd really like to make 2007 the year we get down there to visit his family and a few friends too.
11. Visit Chicago. Haven't been there in 3 years either! I really miss my old stomping grounds. I'd like to get there this year, but if that doesn't happen, I'll be heading there for sure in 2/2008 for my 10-year college reunion!
12. Clean out and downsize my clutter. We haven't moved in a couple of years, so we haven't HAD to do this. But we just have too much stuff and the Salvation Army is only .5 miles from my house. Nuff said.
13. Come up with some new and exciting Thursday Thirteen topics. Help! I'm not very creative when it comes to these things. I'd also like to hit my 100th post. Since I'm on 54 right now, that should be a realistic goal.
The purpose of the meme is to get to know everyone who participates a little bit better every Thursday. Visiting fellow Thirteeners is encouraged! If you participate, leave the link to your Thirteen in others comments. It’s easy, and fun! Be sure to update your Thirteen with links that are left for you, as well! I will link to everyone who participates and leaves a link to their 13 things. Trackbacks, pings, comment links accepted!

Good luck meeting your 2007 goals :) Nice meeting a GR native. Happy TT and thanks for dropping by.
Good luck with everything. Hawaii is amazing - my husband and I visited Maui a few years ago for a friend's wedding. It was a great experience.
Thanks for stopping by and happy TT. :)
Quite a list! That was my topic as well.
How wonderful that you will be able to attend the Beth Moore conference. I hope it is a blessing to you.
Have a great day!
What a wonderful list!
I enjoyed reading it.
The Beth Moore Conference sounds wonderful!
Have a wonderful Thursday!
My TT is posted
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you win that trip to Hawaii. That sounds wonderful. And decluttering sounds like a great resolution.
My 13 are up.
You're going to hav a very busy year! Make sure you take a picture of your blanket. That is a lot of hard work.
Thanks for stopping by my site!
Sounds like you have alot of work ahead of you, but seems like you should be able to do it all in a year.
Happy TT! My topic this week is similar to yours -- things to do in January 2007!
You know, when you mentioned your baby afghan, my mind conjured up the image of a small tribesman.
;-)
I hope you get lots of those things done this year. My mum's a scrapbooker, and loves her weekends away!
You are going to have a busy year. Good Luck. I have never been to Hawaii. Want to go though.
Happy TT!!
You should check out my contest on goals. A nice list!
Ok, first of all Beth Moore- she does truly rock and I know it is so difficult to keep up at home. Her stuff is intense..I have done about four of these and they are great, but have tons of homework. Also, yes, you DO need to go on a retreat. I go on about 3 a year and could probably recommend a good one, depending where you are from!
Get that scrapbook done! Don't worry about the ponytail thing..I stink at doing girl's hair and I have two of them. My youngest daughter has not had a haircut yet either, although her hair is ponytail worthy, she will be four this year!
I'm going to Hawaii in 2008- so sweet, can't wait!
Cheers!
I need to attack the clutter, too. Good luck and thanks for the inspiration.
i did the same TT this week! making some progress on my scrapbooking projects is on my list! good luck with your goals!
Best of luck in 2007!
