Happy Birthday sweet girl! It's so hard to believe that one year ago today, we welcomed Ella Olivia into our lives. It was a quick and easy labor. I woke up at 3:30am with contractions and left for the hospital at 5:30 am. Ella was born at 6:12 am, only 15 minutes after arriving at the hospital! Whew! I hate to think where she would've been born had I waited another 15 minutes to go to the hospital!
Anyway, we celebrated Ella's birthday at Grandma and Grandpa R's house on Sunday. Just a small, simple party with cake and presents. Ella loved her gifts ( a baby doll, a xylophone, and a leapfrog fridge DJ music player) and loved the cake even more! My goodness, she was such a mess by the time she finished that cake-even had some up her nose!
Ella is a sweet, but very fiesty and determined little girl. The first few months of her life were not very pleasant for her or anyone around her. She had such bad colic and cried all the time. But now she is so happy most of the time. She loves to play and be with her sister. She's very independant and insists on eating only what she can feed herself. She doesn't have much hair yet- but what she does have is strawberry blond and I just love that color on her! Daddy, Mommy, and Sister love their baby very much!
