Texas Sheet Cake

My family just loves this cake and I was in the mood for baking tonight, so I thought I'd make it. It really makes a lot of cake, so be prepared to have it around for awhile or share it with friends!

Texas Sheet Cake
1 C Butter
1 C Water
4 T cocoa
2 C. Sugar
2 C Flour
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 C buttermilk (or 1/2 cup milk plus 1 T vinegar)
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Boil the butter, water and cocoa. Combine sugar, flour, and salt in a bowl. Make a well with dry mixture and pour cocoa mixture into it; mix. Add eggs, buttermilk, soda, and vanilla. Pour into greased jellyroll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Frosting:
1/2 c butter
4 T cocoa
6 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 lb powdered sugar
Bring first 4 ingredients to a boil. Add powdered sugar. Remove from heat and stir. Spread on warm cake.

That looks absolutely scrumptious and I never ever should make it since I adore chocolate and cake dough!
