Priceless

I'm afraid to ask this question, because by doing so, I am admitting that I have, once again, started watching American Idol. Blame it entirely on the fact that I don't have cable tv and it is the best option on Tuesday nights, which is a sad, sad, fact.

Anyway, did any of you see the Little Girl Crying during Sanjaya Malakar's song? I mean, picture Marsha Brady, crying her heart out over Davey Jones. Or something like that. It was hilarious. For a while, I couldn't decide if she was crying because she was so happy to see him, or if she cried because her ears were so severely offended. I know that the latter was my reason for crying. But the little girl was a nice distraction from the "Oh please dear great people of the American public, DO NOT VOTE FOR THIS GUY AGAIN!" running through my head every time I see the poor guy. She made for some funny tv, but unfortunately, the whole thing will probably get him through to the next week. There is no justice in the world. Sigh.

I don't have cable either, but I still can't bring myself to watch American Idol. I'm a music teacher who spends my life trying to teach people to sing correctly. That show is like a slap in the face.

Still, I was unable to escape the crying girl. While eating breakfast this morning I tried to catch the weather on TV. The girl's story was on all the channels. Of course, I only get three channels, but still....

Anyway, I tend to agree that she must have been crying in pain. The anchors on the Today show were debating the cause of the tears, and that was just as painful. Matt said he thought it was in pain (possibly making the first time I've agreed with him.) Meredith was comparing it to when she cried at hearing the Beatles. Needless to say, I gave up on seeing the weather report--I just couldn't take it anymore.

OK, I heard on the radio this morning that Howard Stern has asked all of his listeners to vote for the worst singer on AI this year to show what a huge loyal following he has-so his listeners have apparently all been voting for Sanjiya-crazy I know, but it seems to be working!

Poor Sanjiya--he's like stuck in the totally wrong era. Or maybe he's so ahead of his time we don't appreciate him. Hehe:)

Raising Hand - yes I saw it and I have satellite LOL My husband is addicted LOL

But, I did not see it all so I have to ask, is that when she started crying? Because they showed her several times after that and she was still crying, so it was like she was crying for everyone! WTH?
