I just got off the phone with Katelyn's mom, Michelle. She told me that they are holding up pretty well and trying to take it all in. St. Jude's is a GREAT place to be in this situation. Katelyn has ALL, one of the most treatable forms of childhood cancer. She's started on chemo, and if all goes well, she will be able to go home and be treated as an out-patient at some point next week.
Michelle told me that they are receiving a huge outpouring of love and support from the community. A large group of volunteers came over today and cut their grass, planted flowers, and did general landscaping. When she arrived home tonight, there was a cooler of food on her porch.
Please continue to pray for healing for Katelyn. She's going through a lot right now, and doesn't understand why. Pray also for Dave, Michelle and Amanda, that they will have the strength they need and that their family will stay strong through all of this. I think Amanda, Katelyn's older sister, is feeling a little displaced right now.
Thanks for all of your prayers!

I will continue to pray for that precious little one and her family...what a hard thing to go through! God is definitely up to something to have allowed this!
